Planning Blog

 Hey, welcome back! The filming will take place Wednesday, October 5th. We are planning on shooting in the afternoon at Harley’s house. We’re just going to be staying at Harley’s house. We are going to be shooting in a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and the driveway. We will be using donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts and possibly coffee from there as well.  We are going to have a competing brand being Starbucks. In the commercial, we will show that Dunkin’ is the superior Donut and coffee brand. The costumes are going to be pajamas, and normal everyday clothing. If we do not all have the props we need, we can go to several stores near the shooting location to get props that seem like they would further influence the commercial. Stores near the shooting location. Our plan is to try to film within 1 or 2 hours. The backup plan is that if Harley’s house is not available, filming will take place at Natalia’s house. The same shooting procedure will be conducted, it will just be taking place at a different location. Harley will be the primary videographer. Omnia and Natalia are going to be the main actors. They are the teens in the commercial. Marlo is going to play the mother in the commercial. She’s going to be another actor in the commercial. Stay tuned to see how our filming process is going to go.  Hello again! There has been a few changes in the filming process. As you know, the filming date for this project is Thursday, March 16, 2023. Some things have changed with the location of filming this project. This project was supposed to be filmed at my dads new and very big modern house that we are moving into in a couple of months. Things changed because my dad is renting out that house to different people before we move in. A couple booked to stay in the house starting today, Tuesday, March 14 all the way through Tuesday, March 28. This had me thinking because the people renting out the house will be there on the date that my group was going to film. The projects deadline is coming up quickly and I knew that my group could not wait two whole weeks before we film so I decided to improvise. Production Blog- Finally Finished Filming

 Hello and welcome back blog!! I have not updated you in a little while. The group and I had been planning on what day to film and finally it was decided that today would be the day. I have already discussed that everyone has super busy lives and it is a little hard to come up for filming days. Today was the last and final day of filming. It is Monday, March 11 and right when me and my group got out of school at 2:40, we went straight to my house in order to regroup and discuss further scenes that needed to be filmed. After the group got to my house, filming started shortly after. First, I discovered that the amber alert scene needed to be filmed and that was done by changing contact names to the names of the girls in the short films and a voiceover affect of the amber alert saying the name of the girl who is missing. Production Blog- Getting things done

 Hello and welcome back blog!!! I am really sad because me and my group were supposed to film on Sunday, February 25. I had work from 9-5 that day but I was planning on going over to Jenna’s after work that day, so was the rest of the group. Unfortunately, Jenna came down with a really bad illness that prevented her from being able to film. Now, me and the group need to come up with a new filming day. Jenna has not been to school in a couple of days because of how sick she is. My group needs to get filming done soon because the short film is going to be due March 15. My group needs to discuss new filming dates but we are thinking of Friday March 1st or Saturday or Sunday. I have almost completed the postcard fully.
