Welcome back! Hope everyone is doing fine on this lovely day. So... editing! Let us get into it. To start off editing, as you know, I had to find sounds that were royalty free and would be a good background sound for the whole opening sequence. I went on youtube and found a sound that is a bit eerie and creepy and fits perfectly into this film. Next, title cards. Throughout the opening sequence, I included all the title cards in a font that is not normally used because it is more ugly and creepy which I think adds to the idea of the film. When editing, there was a scene that my group and I forgot to film and so I had to go to my car at 11pm and turn on my car alarm and get a video of me turning it off. It was meant to be Omnia turning off the car alarm being the actor in the movie but because this scene was forgotten till last minute, I had to go out and do it and it came out good. Editing has been a little hard because there has been very bad weather in Florida causing for much floodi

Hello and welcome back! It is now time for the editing of my final task! What I have started doing is trying to find music and background sounds to fit into the opening sequence. The part that is bothersome is not being able to use just any music I want in the opening sequence. If there is a certain song I would want but it has lyrics and is owned by a singer, then I would have to personally reach out to the singer and ask for permission to use the song in my film. I do not want to go through the struggle because sometimes the artists never reach back to you. I am going to have to start finding royalty free music meaning that it is not owned by anyone and everyone can use it. I am planning to find this royalty free music on YouTube. I will try to find music that can be suspenseful and creepy. There are several options but they need to be cut down and I need to figure out where each sound clip will go in the opening sequence. Harley, Omnia and I are going to be the main editors and Mar

Welcome back everyone! I wanted to address an important part of filming being safety. There were a few safety precautions made to ensure filming went smoothly and nobody got hurt. First, let's talk about the scene of Omnia walking back from the car with boxes in hands. In this scene, what the group and I wanted to do was to actually have a scene of her driving the car but it was decided that it would be dangerous and it would be better to just have viewers assume she drove the car to the house with her moving boxes. This was a smart choice because the film still looks good and is understandable without having to take such a safety risk. Additionally, there were scenes included of the killer (Harley) holding an extremely sharp and big chef knife. The only reason for the massive size of this knife was to give the real dramatic effect that most thriller movies give and give the viewer a more scary and suspenseful feeling the scarier the weapon is. The safety precaution that was taken

Welcome back! I am going to talk about how it was for me filming this final task. Filming this final task was very fun and really brought a creative side out of me. Growing up, I have always liked filming and taking pictures. I definitely would have preferred to be part in the opening sequence because I do love acting. Sadly, there were no parts for me to play because everyone else in my group wanted a part and because of how little time there is in the opening sequence there were not many roles that needed to be played. The more people that were introduced in this film would not have fit the idea of the movie because it was a quick killing scene in order to introduce the actual movie, which is what the opening sequence is. I wanted to add a part in this opening sequence and be a real estate agent. I would have been the one to show "Simona" into her new home. This part could have been possible, but with everything going on, the group decided it was best to not do that and st
