Hey again. To continue on with how we produced this commercial, I am going to talk about how and why we chose our props, backgrounds, mood, and tones for this commercial. My group mates and I thought carefully on all the details that would be included in the commercial. One major factor in making a commercial is the background. Background and tone is important because those two things combines are abt to set the mood of the commercial. In this Dunkin' commercial, we were aiming for an up beat commercial to create a happy mood related to Dunkin' products. We used props to create a better idea of Dunkin' and what we are advertising. We used the phone in the commercial for the alarm to go off and wake Omnia and I up although we had to act tired and miserable. I used pillows and blankets to look super comfortable in bed therefore being why I slept through the alarm. I used face wash and hair detangler to show I was getting ready for school with the background being the bathroom which would only make sense. I used a Starbucks bag to show the competition of Dunkin' and threw it in the trash, acting as though nothing can compare to Dunkin'. I used Dunkin's Donuts and a coffee to act out that Dunkin's products are what keep me going through the day even though I was tired and acting miserable. Omnia and I had a change in outfits after we ate Dunkin's products to act out how Dunkin' instantly made us ready for the day and how it completely changed our overall mood. I used a backpack prop to convey in the commercial that I was instantly ready to leave for school right after I had Dunkin' products. All the backgrounds that were chosen for this commercial were all specific to what we were shooting in the commercial. Every background in the commercial was chosen to fit the certain props and costumes for the take. Talk soon.

The film highlights the idea that when you feel a sense of hurt in a relationship/friendship it can cause a mental trigger for coping mechanisms such as violence or self harm. Shattered bonds brings awareness to this through the plot. Throughout the film, there are scenes showing one of the teenage girls being left out of the group and feeling a sense of hurt in the fact that nobody is including her in their conversation or activities. These feelings of hurt then revolve into resentment in the film as they do in the real world. These feelings can lead to violence against others as well as self harm. In the film, the girl being left out resorts to killing the girl t...
