All about me

 Hello! Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Natalia Sorbo. One thing about me is I love being creative. I am so excited to be filming this final task. I had put a lot of creativity into the music video and thought it came out pretty good. Using everything I have learned from the commercial and music video, this final task short film will be very creative and executed well. During the week, I am in school clubs which take up some of my days. I also play golf during the week causing my schedule to always be busy. I am very active and athletic. I love being out and enjoying time with friends. Filming this short film will cause for me to be able to hangout with my friends in order to film this project. I am very interested to see what we will come up with and I already have a few ideas. Being productive is a big thing more me that I strive for everyday. I will make sure to complete things by due dates and create an awesome piece of work. This is going to be a very fun project being able to work with a group and people and being able to showcase my skills. Over the years, I have put a lot of effort into my academics and always strive to be the best I can be. Math and chemistry are some of my favorite subjects. I want to go into commercial real estate and always prove I can be good at anything I set my mind to. Thank you for reading, now let's begin the process. Bye!

  The mystery short film I watched was Party to Murder by Strobie Studios. The actors gathered together at this old style mansion to play a game of murder mystery while at a masked party. Will they play a harmless game or is the reality of death knocking on their front door? The director included a plot twist which is what ultimately made the short film a good watch. At the beginning of the film the director used upbeat music and close up angles of a couple dressed in fancy attire. Short Film Research: The Last Note

    Short film reasearch: ( The Last Note/Mystery) Hey blogg. Today we will be discussing an award-winning mystery short film called "The Last Note" and pointing out different features within this film. For some background, the film begins with David driving to lake while taking about leaving his wife and all his problems with her. Then David is seen with a body bag which is Catherine and dumps her in a lake. He does this due to catching ehr cheating on him the night before. Once David returns home, he starts drinking a liquor while reading a book named Murder. In the book, there was a note from Catherine and as he reads to there are flashbacks to her putting posion in the bottle. He then relazies as she write “sorry I had to do this , goodbye David” and he passes away. My Critical Reflection

  Critical Reflection Link Critical Reflection A level Media Studies How do your products represent social groups or issues? My short film, Shattered Bonds, represents the major issue of mental health struggles that follow being left out in relationships and friendships, that so many people suffer from in the real world. The film highlights the idea that when you feel a sense of hurt in a relationship/friendship it can cause a mental trigger for coping mechanisms such as violence or self harm. Shattered bonds brings awareness to this through the plot. Throughout the film, there are scenes showing one of the teenage girls being left out of the group and feeling a sense of hurt in the fact that nobody is including her in their conversation or activities. These feelings of hurt then revolve into resentment in the film as they do in the real world. These feelings can lead to violence against others as well as self harm.
