Movie Conventions Research: M3GAN

What elements (conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?
Some conventions of this Thriller genre that this movie has is the killing part. In the movie M3GAN, the movie builds up to where the doll starts to kill people. In our final task, the killing element in this movie will play a key role. 

What elements (conventions) of the genre did the movie have that you like?
Some elements and conventions that were in the M3GAN movie that my group liked were the sounds being Non-Diegetic and Diegetic sounds. This allowed for a more suspenseful and Thriller feeling movie. The soundtracks that were used in this movie also was something my group liked. M3GAN also has a very cool opening sequence which offers an intriguing idea.

What elements (conventions) of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you?
The convention in this movie M3GAN being a doll is something that does not appeal to my group. There will be no need of a doll in our Thriller genre movie. The idea of a doll killing people is not appealing to us in the style movie we want to do.
