Production Blog

 Hello again! There has been a few changes in the filming process. As you know, the filming date for this project is Thursday, March 16, 2023. Some things have changed with the location of filming this project. This project was supposed to be filmed at my dads new and very big modern house that we are moving into in a couple of months. Things changed because my dad is renting out that house to different people before we move in. A couple booked to stay in the house starting today, Tuesday, March 14 all the way through Tuesday, March 28. This had me thinking because the people renting out the house will be there on the date that my group was going to film. The projects deadline is coming up quickly and I knew that my group could not wait two whole weeks before we film so I decided to improvise. I came up with the idea that instead the final task will be filmed at the current house my dad and I are in. This house is smaller but still has most of the necessities that will be needed. There is a pool and there are many moving boxes all around the house because of the fact my dad and I are moving to the new house in a few months. The backup house to film was supposed to be Harley's house but instead I suggested the current house I am living in because there is no pool at Harley's which defeats the killing scene in the project that is going to be done. Besides the change in filming, everything else right now is staying the same and progress is being made. My group and I plan to finish filming on the film date and plan to start editing right away or in the days after filming.

 Hello and welcome back blog! Today was a day of learning and gaining new information on different media studies and theorists. In media today, I learned about media ecology and all the ways it can help us understand filming and how to apply it to our knowledge of media. I also discussed with my group that because of my work schedule, it can be difficult to plan what days to film for the final task. Welcome back! Let me reintroduce myself.  One thing about me is I love food. I love traveling the world to try different kinds of food. Traveling is so fun for me because I am able to see so many cultures and pretty views. My favorite movie is UP because it made me cry so much. My favorite show is Outer Banks.
