Production Blog- Planning filming date

 Hello! Welcome back blog!! I am going to talk about some planning me and my group has done for the upcoming short film that my group and I are creating very soon. So far, me and my group have talked about the entire storyboard and script of short film. I came up with a couple of scenes and the group is planning on filming very soon. Me and the group have come up with the film date of Sunday February 25, 2024. There is a backup film date of February 19 since there is no school but the group needs to discuss if that date would work for everyone since some of the group members could be busy and already have things to do. The set filming date for right now is February 25. I do hope that I do not have work that day because it could throw off the plans of filming and I would need to try to call off or work around the times that I work. It is crucial to get filming done ASAP so that way I can get all other things done like these production blogs as well as just getting filming out of the way so it is not rushed and it ensures me and my group to have the overall best time filming. While making the script for the storyboard, me and my group did have some disagreements about how we should set up the storyboard and it caused a little conflict. The good part of all of my group mates being friends makes it easier for us to be able to make up after a disagreement and end up coming to a consensus about what should be done moving forward. I am looking forward to filming and in the way that I imagine the film to come out, I truly hope that it ends up coming out as good as I imagine it. Thank you so much for listening blog. Production Blog- Continuation of filming

 Hello and welcome back blog. It was decided that the new filming date would be Saturday March 2nd. I work from 9-5 that day but I will be going after work to film the night scenes. The only thing I am worried about is when the school scenes are going to be filmed. Very soon, editing and putting together the film needs to begin because it does take a lot of time for this to come together and our deadline is March 15 to have the movie as well as website and postcard completely done. Carleigh is still putting together the website and it is taking a bit longer than I would like because I need the link to make the QR code for my postcard. The plan on Saturday is to film more at night around 6 for it to be dark so we will be able to film the night scenes of the grave as well as when the flashbacks in the short film occur in the dark. Production Blog- Drawbacks

 Hello and welcome back blog! Today was a day of learning and gaining new information on different media studies and theorists. In media today, I learned about media ecology and all the ways it can help us understand filming and how to apply it to our knowledge of media. It was very interesting to learn about and realize how much our society and media has changed over the years and how well communication has transformed things in our modern society. I also discussed with my group that because of my work schedule, it can be difficult to plan what days to film for the final task. I suggested that filming could take place on days that I do not work and everyone is not busy and going to Jenna’s house for filming after school would be a good plan. Weekends are very busy for me and it would be difficult to set an exact day to film for right now. I will miss the process of filming this short film. There were many ups and downs but overall the experience in A level media has been a fun process and I am proud of how hardworking me and my group were making this short film.
